SHIP REPAIRS
Ship repairs will be one of the leading activities of Besiktas Group. We will have dry docks and ship repair berths at Besiktas shipyards in Altinova/Yalova and Ceyhan/Adana.
Besiktas Altinova Shipyard
Besides the extensive shipbuilding plans in the shipyard, we are building also a dry dock which will be capable to accommodate post Panamax size ships. We have the strong advantage of being very close to Tuzla Shipyards, which is a well known ship repair destination in the World. We will start our ship repair activities in 2009.
Besiktas Ceyhan Shipyard
Besiktas Shipping Group is building its second shipyard in Ceyhan Adana. The shipyard will have two dry docks; one of them will be capable to accommodate ships up to 350 m LOA and the other one up to 400 m LOA.
The construction of this Yard will start in 2009 and the opening will be in 2011.
The shipyard is one day sailing distance to Suez Chanel and is in the center of Ceyhan Energy Zone (Existing crude oil pipelines from Azerbaijan & Iraq and new refinery projects)
